It's been a month since General Conference and I have been enjoying reading through the talks and my notes. I couldn't possibly choose a favorite talk, but here are a few of my favorite quotes. There are so many more I could share and mayyybe I'll draw a bunch more. I love General Conference and the opportunity to learn from modern prophets. I learned and felt a lot of different things, including a stronger desire to be a temple worker this fall. (You can find quotes from the Women's Session here.)
April 2016 General Conference Quotes - Women's Session
Twice a year we have General Conference, where we get to hear from our church leaders during a weekend full of inspiring messages. (Most of the happy quotes I share on Sundays come from General Conference.) This weekend was absolutely what I needed and I heard so many messages that were meant just for me. I feel like I'm still taking it all in and I can't wait to study each talk again and again. I thought I would share some of my favorite quotes from the Women's Session that was last week. It seemed like the whole night was centered on a theme of service and I can't wait to get these happy reminders hung up around my apartment. You can download these prints below and watch the Women's Session here!

Free Printable: Simple New Year's Resolutions for 2016
It's that time of year! That time when we start thinking about our goals for the new year and are suddenly flooded with all the ways in which we want to improve and then become overwhelmed because there's no way we can possibly do it all.
I created this printable to keep things simple this year and to keep me from setting too many goals. Choosing just a couple of things has caused me to think about what goals are really the most important right now. I really like the bottom question because making resolutions tends to bring up all the areas where I'm falling short, but by thinking about something to continue doing, I get a chance to think about the things I'm doing well, something we definitely don't do enough.
I'm really good at making weekly or monthly goals, but sticking with something for a year is not my forte. This year I've decided to keep it simple and also make sure that my new year's resolutions are somewhere I can see them often.
I've found that even just writing down a goal increases the likelihood that I will stick with it.
What are your goals for the new year? I usually try to make one silly goal that I know I'll accomplish. This year it's hold lots of babies (:
Book Review: More than the Tattooed Mormon (+ 20 Quotes to Share)
You know those incredibly happy people who you just can't get enough of? Yep. That's Al. We've never met, but after reading her new book, More Than the Tattooed Mormon, I honestly feel like her friend. Al has the most positive attitude and it rubs off on everyone around her. Her book is just so genuine and honest. Even though it is her story, this book is for you and me. I promise you this book will leave you feeling uplifted, loved, and motivated to do incredible things. This book is a super quick read (I read it in less than a day), but it is so good. I was highlighting like it was my job. I love Al's honesty throughout the whole book, especially when she relayed her conversion story, but most of all, I loved reading about her determination to do whatever God asked of her.
There were so many parts I loved and so I decided to letter some of my favorite quotes to hang up. You can view the gallery below and save each image because I know you are going to appreciate Al's words as much as me.
